Custom Boutique & Shoppe Design

Whether you’re just getting started with your new boutique or already have an established e-commerce shoppe that needs a makeover, I’d love to create a design package to meet your specific needs and bring your website vision to life!

Platform:

For e-commerce sites, I work with the hosting and content management system provided by Shoppe Pro, due to their ease of use, shopping cart integration, and availability of support.

If you already use (or would prefer to use) another hosting company or e-commerce platform, just contact me!

Pricing:

Custom design prices start at $150. Each client will receive a custom price quote based on individual needs.

Custom Design Process:

  • Tell me a little bit about your design needs:  Complete the Custom Design Questionnaire. I will contact you after reviewing your questionnaire to discuss the details of your design and provide you with a custom design price quote and estimated project start and completion date, based on your needs and preferences.
  • Payment:  You will receive an invoice for the deposit (50% of the total design fee) via Paypal. Once the transaction is completed, you will be placed in the design queue.
  • Design begins:  You will receive an email when work on your project begins. I will create and email you design proofs, based on your preferences stated in the design questionnaire. You can then give me feedback and I will make revisions accordingly. During this time, we will need to communicate frequently via email, so please be sure to check your email often to ensure the design process maintains momentum and remains on schedule.
  •  Final design:  Once you are 100% happy with the design, you can approve the final design. At this point the remainder of your balance is due (the remaining 50%).
  • Design install:  Once the final payment is received, I will need your user name and password to your website in order to install. If you use WordPress, you can temporarily add me as an administrator. I will also need your FTP (or C-panel) login information (from your hosting provider) to ensure complete installation of your new site design. I will install the new design and contact you when the installation is complete.
  • Support:  During the 2 day period following installation, you will have the opportunity to carefully look through your new site design and then contact me with any questions or issues that may arise.

What You’ll Need:

  • Purchase your domain name (ex: www.yourwebsite.com).
  • Purchase hosting.  A hosting provider will host your website’s information and content on the web, usually for a monthly or annual fee. There are many hosting providers to choose from to suit your site’s needs; see the resources page for more information on recommended hosts. You may also need to set up your chopping cart as well (your hosting company can provide more information on shopping cart software integration).
